British designed, manufactured and hand assembled 316L stainless steel, for mounting on floord/walls and for illuminating structures.
This fixture has been designed for discreet lighting of floors/ walls and garden structures. Fully adjustable in vertical or horizontal positions.
This product has the choice of three light outputs from a constant current supply of either 350mA, 500mA or 700mA.
The minimum output @350mA is 80 lumens @1.2w.
The maximum output @700mA is 140 lumens @2.4w.
Choice of beam angles 10º, 18º, 32º or 42º.
Comes pre wired with 1m of 2 core HO5RN-F rubber cable and a 5 year guarantee.
The product utilises integral chips from LED manufacturer CREE, with 'BIN' number 8B4.
This BIN number is a gret advantage for professional designers as it gives them confidence in specifying a particular range
of
products with complete colour consistency, and eliminates the visible shift in colour which can be noticeable with poorer
quality products
placed in close proximity to one another.
Our high quality integral LED's have an extremely long life expectancy. At the end of the LED's life, or in the unlikely
event of a premature failure, the LED can be factory replaced for a small fee if out of guarantee.
Installation
All ground recessed luminaires must have adequate drainage beneath each fitting to allow water to disperse, especially in
clay based soil beds.
All cable joints must be 100% watertight and there are a number or waterproof transformer boxes and heat shrink
cable joint kits on our web site to choose from.
We would advise that all connections and transformers be kept above ground where possible as the weakest link in any
exterior garden
electrical installation is joining cables together. Magic Gel should be used in the termination boxes to reduce
the risk of water ingress.
Please ensure that your electrician is NIC EIC certified and has done exterior lighting installations before and conforms
to Part P certification.
Environmental impact
Care should be taken for the environment and local wildlife to maintain the ecological balance. Insects, bats, wildlife can
all be effected by light pollution.
The warmer colour spectrum of ( 2,700 Kelvins ) does not interfere with insects and general wildlife as much as
the blue colour spectrum of light
around 6,000 kelvins which can disrupt their normal night time activity. This also applies to bats where a anti
glare light fittings
works better as well as reducing the overall light pollution in the area.
