The Mystic Wall Light with photocell is a Globe shaped wall lantern with dusk to dawn technology. It has a bright white globe shaped lens, and a matt black frame, which surrounds the lower half of the Globe, and a decorative mounting bracket. The Globe itself is a 2 part, extremely robust and vandal resistant polycarbonate diffuser. Removing the top half allows easy replacement of the standard ES lamp, and is secured by three stainless steel screws.
The frame is made from rust proof Aluminium which is chromate treated prior to painting. This prevents the Aluminium oxidising and the paint then flaking off, as it may do with fittings which have not been treated. 3 Year Guarantee.
The built in photocell, also known as a dusk til dawn sensor, provides added security to a home or building, automatically switching the lamp on at dusk and off again at dawn. This will make it look as though somebody is home every night, whether they are or not, preventing intruders targetting the property as they will be spotted, and also save energy by switching itself off when enough light is detected and electric light is no longer required.
PLEASE NOTE: These lights mount on to the wall with the use of a 'Unifix' bracket

Lamp colour ( Kelvins )
The colour of a lamp is defined as a measurement called kelvins. A standard GLS light bulb in your house would be 2,700 kelvins
which is in the warm colour spectrum and a lamp with 6,000 kelvins would be at the very cold white spectrum. Getting the
right colour temperature of a lamp does matter as the warm colour wavelength helps to soften skin tones and gives a warm
soft relaxed feel and at the other end of the scale a 4,000 to 6,000 kelvin lamp colour would be used in offices or
a fast food restaurants to make you feel less comfortable and relaxed and more alert. There’s nothing that can sour your
opinion of a compact fluorescent or LED lamp like buying a 4000K or 5000K bulb when you meant to buy a 2700K bulb,
or vice-versa. When you buy a new, energy efficient bulb, keep your application and colour scheme in mind and make sure to
buy the bulb with a colour temperature to match.
