The Navigator Maxor code number E3311WW is a low energy, warm white LED deck and recessed light which consumes
a small amount of power and stays cool to the touch. The warm white LED produces
a wide 80° beam diffused by the 28mm diameter frosted lens to provide soft lighting
compatible with the colour of halogen garden lighting. The Navigator Maxor is used either
to mark out the shape of a deck, patio or terrace, to outline paths and to light
steps. To outline a deck or patio space with a distinctive shape, start at the corners
of the decking or paving and space LED recessed garden lights at about 1 - 1.5m apart.
Constructed from 316 grade stainless steel, the IP65 rated Navigator Maxor externally measures 60mm diameter by 54mm in
length. Illumination is provided from an integral single 1w 92 lumen warm white (2700K) LED, diffused by a 28mm diameter
frosted lens. Comes supplied with 1m H05RN two core cable and plastic sleeve. Plastic sleeve externally measures 48mm diameter
by 70mm in length.
All recessed luminaries must have adequate drainage beneath each fitting to allow
water to disperse, especially in clay based soil beds.
All cable joints must be 100%
watertight and there are a number or waterproof transformer boxes and heat shrink cable
joint kits on our web site to choose from. We would advise that all connections and
transformers are kept above ground where possible as the weakest link in any exterior
garden electrical installation is joining cables together.
Please ensure that your electrician is NIC EIC certified and has done exterior lighting
installations before. Also ensure that all rubber gaskets are clean and dry before
screwing down the front glass and bezel for a water tight seal.

Lamp colour ( Kelvin's )
The colour of a lamp is defined as a measurement called kelvins. A standard GLS light bulb in your house would be 2,700 kelvins
which is in the warm colour spectrum and a lamp with 5,000 kelvins would be at the very cold white spectrum. Getting
the right colour temperature of a lamp does matter as the warm colour wavelength helps to soften the tone of the area
and gives a warm soft relaxed feel and ideal for colourful flower beds and rockery areas especially with wooden bark
and at the other end of the scale a 4,000 to 5,000 kelvin lamp colour would be used against a light background such as
white walls or to accentuate grey blueish foliage in shrubs and small trees. When you buy a new, energy efficient
bulb, keep your application and colour scheme in mind and make sure to buy the bulb with a colour temperature to match.

and other materials using a 44mm hole saw. Diameter 60mm (sleeve 48mm;
44mm cut-out without sleeve) recess depth 75mm.
12v 2.2W (
): NAVIGATORS should be connected to 1.5mm or 2.5mm ground burial low voltage cable
with a heat-shrink crimped-connector weatherproof
Joint Kit - T9962 Cable Joint Kit (for connecting to the end of a cable)
or T9963 Cable Splice Kit (for connecting into a run of cable).
NAVIGATORS should be powered by 12v ac or dc power supply. Do not use an
electronic transformer to power Navigator LED lights. If powering from a
12v 20va or 50va ac wire-wound transformer, ensure transformer is
loaded to at least 75% of nominal rating.
