Atlantis 240v - 316i Marine Grade Stainless Steel IP65 GU10 - Adjustable Spot Wall Light

The Atlantis adjustable 316 marine grade stainless steel wall light is one of our most popular light fittings due to its high specification and value for money price. There is a family of fittings in the Atlantis range which gives the architect flexibility in his design concept. You can choose from a fixed down light, an adjustable wall light, a up / down light and a ground spike light. They're all made to the same highest quality marine grade 316 stainless steel. The modern design of the Atlantis range is an appealing choice for any outdoor environment.  These fittings are ideally suited to marine or sea environments. Simple in design but does the job in a minimalist way. Very easy clean and lamp change.

A wide selection of beam angles are available for the lamps to create the effect you require and can be used with the very latest LED lamps to help reduce maintenance cost's and energy bills.

Please ensure that you use a PART P, NIC EIC electrical contractor to install your exterior lighting.

Care must be taken when installing exterior lighting products especially those that are ground mounted. All the products are sold and tested fit for purpose and the IP rating is set according to the design and purpose of the luminaire, more details on IP ratings can be found under design ideas section. The weakest point is generally the installation of the product where adequate drainage has not been made for ground buried lights or poor cable joints have been made which are not 100% water tight and will allow for water penetration. There are a number of waterproof enclosures available on this site along with heat shrink cable joint kits and resin gel packs to fill the junction boxes to make a watertight enclosure. Where possible try and keep all joints and transformers above ground, however if this is not possible there are potted burial kits available.

Light output ( Lumen )

All lamps have a lumen number and the higher the lumen number the brighter the lamp, however colour of the lamp (kelvins ) also comes in to play here as a whiter lamp at 6,000 kelvins and above would always appear brighter to the naked eye than a warmer colour lamp at the 2,700 kelvins light spectrum even if it has the same lumen output.  A halogen 150w R7 lamp that is used in a standard garden security flood light would produce around 2,300 lumens and a 26w compact fluorescent would produce around 1,800 lumens.  Placing lights closer to the item to be illuminated is a good way of using a lower lumen lamp rather than trying to flood light a big area.
