waterproof junction boxes, heat shrink joint kits, waterproof transformers, can all be found in this section.
This is probably the most important section because if you do not get a good 100% watertight connection you will have problems with your lighting. We advise to try and keep lights and electrical supplies above ground in a waterproof enclosure. Always take advice from a local NIC EIC electrical contractor who has installed exterior lighting before.
There are several ways to make a waterproof joint and several products to choose from. Heat shrink kits are cheap and very effective as are the resin kits that put in to the connection box with a transformer. We also advise using copper grease on all screw fixings on the light fitting as this will help reduce corrosion and make it easier to remove the screws when a lamp replacement is require. There is also some ground spikes to mount a waterproof enclosure to rather than a burial kit which is harder to access if problems arise later.
