Newly built steps and retaining walls and gardens with sleepers always look professionally finished off once tastefully illuminated to showcase the hard work from building those steps and walls as well as making them a health and safety feature. Well illuminated steps will help to prevent any trip hazards as well as create an ambient warmth of light.
Any garden will stand out once it has been finished with a tasteful element of warm white light making the garden come to life once it's dark.
Having lit steps and walls also means you will make more use of the garden at night and not just in the summer months. In winter it's nice with a fire pit lit on the patio and the surrounding steps and walls nicely illuminated to make the garden a place to enjoy even when the temperatures drop.
At Exterior Lights we have a variety of 12v and 240v fittings with a choice of finishes and styles. If you are close to a coastal area then Brass, Copper and 316 Stainless Steel are the best choices to withstand the salty elements but if you are inland and a good 20 t0 30 miles away from the coast then aluminium and powder coated finishes will suffice.
